Reds COVID-19 Update
Thursday 8 July 2021

Reds Volleyball Association wishes to provide an update in relation to WAVL State League and Divisions fixtures this weekend.
All athletes are encouraged to check Bracketpal to ensure they are playing at the correct venue, as there have been some venue changes due to COVID-19 restrictions.
  • All games that were originally at Cockburn ARC this Sunday are now at Curtin Stadium (same times).
  • No spectators will be permitted at any venue this weekend, except for:
Reds v Rossmoyne – Reserves Men and Women fixtures on Friday night at Aquinas College.
Reds v Reds Junior – Division 1 Men and Women and Division 2 Men fixtures on Saturday evening at Aquinas College.
  • Masks remain mandatory for all athletes, coaches and officials when not engaged in vigorous indoor exercise for this weekend’s matches. This means masks will be required to be worn by athletes when entering/exiting facilities, performing duties, spectating other matches and on the bench.
Reds wishes to thank all State League and Divisions athletes and coaches for your cooperation in adhering to COVID-19 protocols in place at training this week. Everyone has played a fantastic role in ensuring a safe return to training in compliance with Aquinas College, Volleyball WA and State Government regulations.

Please continue to check-in to Aquinas College using the SafeWA app. Masks will remain mandatory for all patrons who are not actively involved in indoor exercise at Aquinas College for the following trainings and matches in the coming days:
  • Thursday 8 July – State League and Divisions training
  • Friday 9 July – Reds v Rossmoyne Reserves Men and Women matches
  • Saturday 10 July – Reds v Reds Junior Division 1 Men and Women + Division 2 Men matches

Spectators are permitted to attend the home rounds on Friday and Saturday. Masks will be required to be worn by spectators, and patrons may be asked to leave if the number of patrons in the facility exceeds 150, however this is highly unlikely for this weekend’s home rounds.
