COVID-19 Protocols will be enforced at trainings at Aquinas College this week including the requirement for:
- All athletes, coaches and other patrons to check-in on the SafeWA app when arriving at Aquinas College.
- Masks to be worn by all patrons at all times, except when athletes are involved in vigorous exercise.
- The facility to have a maximum capacity of 150 patrons.
- Athletes to ‘Get in. Train. Get out.’ This will ensure that Reds remains compliant with capacity restrictions in place.
Based on advice received from Volleyball WA, no masks will be required to be worn while athletes are actively involved in trainings or matches. Athletes will be required to wear masks when spectating other trainings/matches and when on the bench during matches. Masks will remain mandatory at all times for coaches and officials.
Spectators are permitted to attend matches under the transitional restrictions, however further advice will be sought by Reds in relation to WAVL competition venues for State League and Divisions fixtures this weekend to ensure that matches proceed in compliance with the two square metre capacity rule and 150 patron limit on venues.
