
Competition Overview
After the success of the Youth Volley League in 2023 & 2024, the Perth Reds Volleyball League is returning in Term 2 & 3 2025. The competition will provide athletes from Primary School through to Open divisions an opportunity to play in a quality competition at a very affordable price.
Whether you are preparing school, club or community competitions , this competition provides a fun, energetic, convenient and high quality competition to play in a fun and competitive match environment.
Nominations are open to all schools, clubs and cultural/community groups so get in now to register your teams!

Competition Purpose
The purpose of the competition is:
- To provide a structured playing opportunity for WA schools preparing for the AVSC
- To provide a youth competition as an alternative to WA Volleyball Junior League.
- To provide the competition at a low cost to athletes, schools and clubs.
- To limit the travel of players and families by using venues central to Perth.
FAQs
Where will the competition be played?
The Perth Reds Volleyball League (PRVL) will be hosted at Penrhos College and All Saints College.
When will the competition be played?
PRVL will be played on Friday evenings.
How long will the competition run for?
The competition will be run over Term 2 & 3 2025 and will start on the 16th of May and conclude in mid September.
What is the match format for regular season and finals matches?
Matches are best of 5 sets and will run in 1-hour 10-minute time slots (can be adjusted for younger age groups based on court availability).
For finals games are untimed and best of 5 sets.
