Stronger and Healthier Together: The Good Grocer continues incredible support of the Perth Reds Family

Perth Reds Volleyball Association is incredibly proud to welcome back The Good Grocer as an official partner for 2025-27, continuing our shared commitment to building stronger, healthier communities across Western Australia. Having first joined the Reds community as a Major Partner in 2021, The Good Grocer has helped power Reds over the past 5 years and their renewed commitment will see that support continue for the next three years.

This renewed partnership brings together two proudly WA-based organisations united by a passion for local impact, community connection, and promoting health and wellbeing through sport and nutrition.

As a family-owned and operated business, The Good Grocer has long championed initiatives that support families, encourage healthy lifestyles, and invest in grassroots community engagement. Through this ongoing partnership with Perth Reds, The Good Grocer will continue to play a key role in supporting volleyball events, junior programs, and community activations — helping athletes and families stay fuelled for success both on and off the court.

A Shared Commitment to Community and Wellness

As a family-owned and operated WA business, The Good Grocer has always believed in supporting organisations that bring people together and promote health and wellbeing. That’s exactly what Perth Reds Volleyball does through junior development, inclusive programs like Reds Reach, and events that bring the whole community courtside.

The Good Grocer’s promise is to go above and beyond to exceed local communities’ expectations by offering a wide variety of fresh, high-quality food and providing outstanding customer service.

The Good Grocer is the preferred supplier for food items for the Perth Reds Volleyball Association and with multiple store locations, including Applecross, Canning Bridge, South Perth, East Fremantle, Myaree, Shenton Park, Wembley, City Beach Leederville and Karratha, The Good Grocer will be fuelling our Reds community in locations right around the corner from one of our indoor or beach programs, with the best produce to help Reds athletes and teams achieve incredible things.

Anthony Meo, President – Perth Reds Volleyball Association, said the partnership reflects the Association’s focus on building strong, values-aligned relationships.

“We’re proud to welcome back The Good Grocer as a partner over the next three years. The Good Grocer have proudly supported our Reds community since 2021 and we couldn’t be more excited to see that partnership continue to evolve over the next three years,” Meo said.

“The Good Grocer’s support has been critical to the growth and stability of the Perth Reds community and we are incredibly grateful for the continued support of WA’s fastest growing grocery chain,” Meo said.

“The Good Grocer shares our belief that sport is about more than what happens on the court. Together, we’re creating stronger connections and healthier communities.

“Good people and good volleyballers, need good food, and that is what our partnership with The Good Grocer is all about” Meo added.

Holly Brindle, Director – Brindle Group, shared her thoughts on the collaboration:

“We’re excited to be part of the Perth Reds journey. Supporting their events, athletes, and community initiatives gives us a chance to contribute to something that brings people together. Good food and good sport truly go hand in hand.”

The partnership between The Good Grocer and Perth Reds is a clear example of how local organisations can unite to create lasting community impact. This collaboration will ensure Reds athletes, families, and supporters are better connected, better supported, and ready to thrive in 2025 and beyond.

The partnership reflects The Good Grocer’s long-standing commitment to community wellbeing and inclusive local initiatives. With aligned values and a shared focus on health, connection, and positive impact, The Good Grocer is proud to support a club that fosters safe, welcoming environments for people of all ages and backgrounds.

With a packed calendar of home rounds, activations, and local competitions, the 2025 season has been the biggest yet for Reds, and with The Good Grocer onboard, the club is well-positioned to continue growing as a hub for health, sport, and social impact across Western Australia.
