Perth Reds Volleyball Association is excited to announce the evolution of the Youth Volley League (YVL) into the newly rebranded Perth Reds Volleyball League (PRVL), launching in Term 2 and 3 of 2025!
Following the success of YVL in 2023 and 2024, the PRVL will continue to deliver a fun, energetic, and high-quality volleyball competition for adult volleyballers as well as players in primary or high school – all at an affordable price point. This refresh signals an exciting new era for the Reds community, offering a bigger, better competition platform for athletes of all ages across Perth.
The Term 2 and 3 edition of the competition will be hosted across Penrhos College and All Saints’ College providing volleyballers in Western Australia of all ages with additional competitive playing opportunities on Friday nights between May to September.
The addition of grades open to all ages, including adult players, has brought about the change to the naming of the competition to best reflect the competition’s structure and offerings for players.
The launch of PRVL comes at an exciting time for the Association, as Perth Reds continues to expand its programs, events, and opportunities for the WA volleyball community.
Team nominations remain open for schools, clubs, and community groups, while individuals wishing to participate can register via Reds Volleyball Club.
ABOUT THE PERTH REDS VOLLEYBALL LEAGUE (PRVL)
The Perth Reds Volleyball League (PRVL) is an indoor volleyball competition open to school, club, and community teams in WA that will run on Friday nights across Terms 2 and 3. Matches will be played in one-hour time-slots (eg. 4:45pm (PRVL – Kids), 5:45pm, 6:45pm or 7:45pm start times).
The 2025 winter edition will be played at Penrhos College and All Saints’ College offering high-quality matches across Primary School, High School and Open divisions for players of all-ages.
PRVL will cater for high school aged and adult volleyballers, wile PRVL-Kids will cater for primary school aged volleyballers. Players can register as individuals or teams. Registrations remain open and will close on Friday 9 May.
