The Reds Volleyball Club athletes attended training at Aquinas College on Thursday night between 7:20pm-9:10pm and trained for the duration of the session on the show-court closest to the tiered seating.
All athletes who were present at training on Thursday 24 February at Aquinas College have been notified via email with advice about this situation.
The Club has notified Volleyball WA and Aquinas College of these positive cases and we are working collaboratively to ensure the safety and well-being of all individuals.
Reds would like to reiterate the importance of adhering to all COVID-19 protocols imposed at all training venues. This includes:
- Scanning in using the Safe WA or Service WA application.
- Wearing masks at all times whilst indoors (excluding vigorous exercise).
- No spectators are permitted to attend trainings.
- Hi-fives and huddles should be minimised or alternatives found where necessary.
- Staying at home if you are feeling unwell or displaying COVID-19 symptoms.
Thank you for your ongoing respect and cooperation for our COVID-19 protocols.
Everyone at Reds is looking forward to another sensational year on the court. If we are able to remain healthy throughout the season, it will help our Reds community to stay safe and have a successful year.
Let’s all do our part to keep Reds and the broader volleyball community safe!
