Good Sports

Reds is a Level 3 Good Sports club. Our club is committed to strengthening the community with our members and their families. As a Good Sports Level Three club, we are proud of our efforts in promoting health and well-being while reducing risky alcohol drinking and ensuring smoke-free areas. Our club is a healthy, safe and family-friendly environment.

We manage the sale and use of alcohol responsibly, have both an alcohol management policy and safe transport policy endorsed by our club committee that is communicated to members, and our bar servers have completed responsible service of alcohol training. We do not rely on alcohol for Club income by seeking other income opportunities through sponsorship and fundraising. Together, we are helping inspire a healthier sporting nation. Speak to the Reds Committee about what being a Good Sports club is all about or visit www.goodsports.com.au.

True Sport

Reds is a recognised True Sport club. True Sport is a campaign that supports local sporting clubs, associations and community groups to use eight values to share the benefits of sport and recreation to our whole community because we believe the way we play together shapes the way we live together.

The eight values of True Sport are: Bring your best, Have fun, Give back, Play fair, Be healthy, Include one and all, Show respect and Be safe.

The Reds are proud to promote these values to our members and encourage all players, coaches and parents to demonstrate these values, both on and off the court. Speak to the Reds Committee about the True Sport program or visit www.truesport.com.au for more information.
