ABOUT LUKE PERRY

After making his debut for Australia in 2012, Luke Perry has gone on to play over 250 matches for Australia and has captained the side in recent years. Luke has played in some of the world’s top professional indoor volleyball clubs including Tours VB in France, Berlin Recycling Volleys in Germany and Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie in Poland. 

He has most recently competed for Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie in the Polish Plusliga, where his side won the 2024/25 Polish Supercup and reached the final of the 2024/25 CEV Champions League. He will be returning to Europe later this year to play in the 2025/26 Serie A for Modena in Italy.

ABOUT THE LUKE PERRY VOLLEYBALL ACADEMY

The Luke Perry Volleyball Academy provides aspiring volleyball athletes and coaches from around Australia with the opportunity to develop in a specialised Academy environment. Luke and a variety of support coaches will help facilitate a program of events each year aimed at developing the next generation of indoor volleyball athletes and coaches in Australia.

The LPVA harnesses Australian Volleyball Captain Luke Perry’s knowledge, insights and experiences to offer Academy participants with the opportunity to develop, perform and become better volleyballers on and off the court.

SKILLS & SCRIMMAGE – SESSION INFORMATION

Join us at the LPVA for an exclusive opportunity to train and play alongside a true volleyball professional. Combining a skills-focused development opportunity and then translating these skills into gameplay scenarios, this session gives athletes the chance to learn directly from Luke, gaining insight into the techniques, habits, and mindset that have shaped his world-class career.

Drawing on the experience that earned him Best Libero in the Polish League three years in a row, Luke will help you build the same core skills that have defined his game: serve-receive, defence, and understanding how to position yourself effectively in high-pressure moments. 

This is more than just training, it’s a chance to learn from the very best.

Whether you’re looking to sharpen your skills or gain a deeper understanding of your role on the court, this clinic is designed to take your performance to the next level.

*Athletes will be separated across 4 courts based on current competition grade.   

Sunday 3 August at Aquinas College
**WAVL Female: 9:00am – 11:00am
**WAVL Male: 11:15pm – 1:15pm
Session Lead: Michael Dempsey with Luke Perry providing technical and tactical feedback to athletes.  

**Athletes will be separated across 4 courts based on WAVL playing grade.
