LPVA SETTING CLINIC – SESSION INFORMATION

Join our LPVA Setting Clinic with Ryan Slater, a high-level clinic open to junior and senior athletes of all ages and skill levels who are looking to take their setting game to a whole new level. Whether you’re just starting out or already playing at a competitive level, this clinic is designed to meet you where you are and help you grow into a more confident and effective setter. Throughout the Clinic, athletes will dive deep into the mechanics of footwork, hand positioning, release timing, and setter decision-making.

ABOUT RYAN SLATER

Born and raised in Albany, Ryan Slater is a 2x Most Valuable Player of the WAVL State League Men where he represented Reds Volleyball Club before progressing into the Australian Volleyball Super League where he won the championship with the Perth Steel Men in 2023. Slater made his debut for the Australian Volleyroos in the Korean Cup last year and was named the Albany Sportsperson of the Year for 2024. Ryan has most recently played for German Bundesliga. 2. ABOUT THE LUKE PERRY VOLLEYBALL ACADEMY

The Luke Perry Volleyball Academy provides aspiring volleyball athletes and coaches from around Australia with the opportunity to develop in a specialised Academy environment. Luke and a variety of support coaches will help facilitate a program of events each year aimed at developing the next generation of indoor volleyball athletes and coaches in Australia.

The LPVA harnesses Australian Volleyball Captain Luke Perry’s knowledge, insights and experiences to offer Academy participants with the opportunity to develop, perform and become better volleyballers on and off the court.
